Corrosion resistance of ultra-high performance fibre- reinforced concrete

چکیده

The corrosion resistance of ultra-high performance concrete (UH) made with different fibre contents and under distinct curing conditions was studied. No signs carbonation were observed after 1 year accelerated testing (3% CO2). fibreless UHs’ electrical resistivity above 5000 Ω·m, although these values 2-fold higher than a UH 1% fibres approximately 5-fold 2% fibres. Concrete to chloride penetration also extremely high (the diffusion coefficient equalled 1.3·10−13 m2/s) temperatures 60 °C or 90 improved even more properties, while lack them slightly worse. Given excellent the rate in specimens submerged solution for negligible (iCORR from 0.007 0.025 µA/cm2). These remained stable time, unlike 50 MPa at 2 months when iCORR starting increase 12-fold year. time estimated onset is on average about 150-fold that MPa.

Static properties and impact resistance of a green Ultra- High Performance Hybrid Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPHFRC) : experiments and modeling

This paper addresses the static properties and impact resistance of a ‘‘green’’ Ultra-High Performance Hybrid Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPHFRC). The design of concrete mixtures aims to achieve a densely compacted cementitious matrix, employing the modified Andreasen & Andersen particle packing model. The flowability, static mechanical properties and impact resistance capacity of UHPHFRC are m...

Development of Ultra-High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) : towards an efficient utilization of binders and fibres

This paper presents a method to develop Ultra-High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC). Towards an efficient utilization of binders and fibres in UHPFRC, the modified Andreasen & Andersen particle packing model and the hybridization design of fibres are utilized. Particularly, the UHPFRC with ternary fibres is appropriately designed and tested. The flowability, mechanical properties ...

Applications and Properties of Fibre Reinforced Concrete

In conventional concrete, micro-cracks develop before structure is loaded because of drying shrinkage and other causes of volume change. When the structure is loaded, the micro cracks open up and propagate because of development of such micro-cracks, results in inelastic deformation in concrete. Fibre reinforced concrete (FRC) is cementing concrete reinforced mixture with more or less randomly ...
